I put my passenger side EGT on the header near the #5 exhaust port like this:
and the driver side on my 2530 turbine housing (came pre-threaded) and it's about 2 inches downstream compare to the passenger side EGT probe(before turbo).
The passenger side is 40 C higher than the driver side. That's just 3 inches from the exhaust port. IMO, putting the EGT probe after the turbine will be totally useless. Temp will be much lower and the response will be too slow.
